Your Church - Latest Updates

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. ~ Isaiah 41:10

Church, during this trying time, find your strength in the knowledge that God is in control. He will strengthen you. He will comfort you. And he will see you through.

While our community is ordered to shelter in place, we will do our part in limiting the spread of the novel coronavirus. It's the responsible thing to do.

We will use this page to keep you informed as we move through this unprecedented time. While church may not look the same as what you're used to, rest assured that we are still a beacon of light and hope to the community. Remember, the church is not the building. Church is the people gathering in God's name... whether in a building, online, or however God directs us.

We encourage you to embrace our temporary actions and invite your friends and family to participate. Explore and remain open to new ways for sharing God's Word with those closest to you.

The First Baptist Church of Vacaville Campus is Closed

As long as Solano County is under a shelter-in-place order, our campus is closed and all events and activities are cancelled. The safety of our staff, our congregation, and visitors is paramount.

Please note that closing our campus will not impede our ability to remain a beacon of light and hope in the community. We refuse to let that happen.

We are exploring every opportunity to remain connected, support our congregation, and continue serving our community... safely, securely, and meeting the official mandates of local, state, and federal governments.

Church will look different for a while, but we will continue glorifying our Lord Jesus Christ through every means possible. Please pray about how the Lord might use you and your talents during this trying time.

Please keep in mind that the church still has financial obligations. The work we perform in the community remains dependent on your tithes and offerings, especially as we implement more technology solutions to help keep you connected.

  1. During this time, the fastest and easiest way to make tithes and offering is through our FBCVV Grplife account. Click here for step-by-step instructions to use this online resource.
  2. You may call the church office at 707.448.6209 to make payments by credit/debit card. Leave a message, and we'll call you back as quickly as possible (checked hourly throughout the business day). DO NOT leave your credit card information on the voicemail.
  3. You may mail a check to the church at the address below. However, please note that there may be delays in processing checks, as they require someone to go to the campus and make deposits. Once you create a FBCVV Grplife account, you can make payments by check online.
  4. Check your bank's online services for making direct payment transfers. Many banks allow you to establish one-time and/or recurring payments to the church.

Note: For those of you who already have recurring payments from your bank, you do not need to change anything. Your payments will continue. Check with your bank for more details.
