First Baptist Church Administrator, Shirley Swan, has been a member at FBC since 1977, and served on staff since 1989. She is responsible for administering the budget, church policy, church calendar, personnel, and maintaining buildings and grounds.

"I love my job," says Shirley. "I have the task of ensuring that people have the means to accomplish the ministry God has given them. That could be anything from calendaring a room to budgeting funds, or even remodeling facilities. There's always something different happening in my day!"

What's next on her plate? "We're in the planning stages of building a new campus in Lagoon Valley which will provide needed space for even more ministries!"

Shirley and her husband, Dick, have raised their five children and now enjoy serving the Lord at FBC. Dick is Activities Director for Team Kids on Wednesdays. Shirley Swan can be reached at swan@fbcvv.com
